The environmental awareness of consumers has been growing steadily over the last decade and more recently in the fashion and textile industry. Textile consumption has been increasing steadily and the industry is anxiously looking for more sustainable solutions with minimal eco-footprint. Achieving low environmental impact requires developing eco-friendly raw materials and a sustainable manufacturing process.

Lenzing Viscose EcoVero™ fibers have the lowest environmental impact in the viscose fiber industry and has been the leading brand for progressive development and sustainability among global viscose producers.

EcoVero™ fiber production is built on three main themes: the use of sustainable wood sources (FSC® or PEFC® certified), an ecological production process (significantly lower emissions and water impact than conventional viscose), and full supply chain transparency by identifying EcoVero™ fibers in the final product.

SNT Textile has been using, EcoVero™ branded viscose fibers of Lenzing, since their first launch of the fiber in September 2017. According to last year consumption quantities; SNT Textile’s Viscose EcoVero™ usage covers 80% of its overall viscose usage. Our goal is to increase the amount to 95% with in 3 years.
